Starbucks Delocator

Tuesday, April 5th, 2005

Not that I give a hoot one way or the other about coffee or Starbucks
(except that there seem to be way too many of them at places), but
since someone has gone to the trouble of allowing people to find
alternatives to Starbucks I’ll link to it here.

Thus I give you the Starbucks
Delocator
. For more information you can see the href="http://www.boingboing.net/2005/04/04/antistarbucks_site_d.html">story

Delocator

As seen on the highway

Tuesday, October 21st, 2003

Driving to work the other day I saw a Mazda minivan with a custom plate. That
in itself wasn’t so odd, it was what the plate said. Since you are allowed
special characters on some plates I can not accurately represent it in text,
you must be shown it:

i heart gwar width="394" height="196" />

That’s the kids plate by the way, the only one with the special characters.
I love it. The driver was a mom from the looks of it, and she looked like she
was rocking out too. Rock on you crazy diamond.

For those of you not familiar with GWAR you can choose to go
here.

Thomas Tew, Pirate
Don’t ask me why, but I have a fascination with skulls. This fascination has
bled over into pirates and their symbolism. I did a little searching today
and came up with just a few links on pirate flags (and one link from
Simian Design that is just pirate images in general). Enjoy:

Oh yes, a big thanks still goes out to CB and Athena who got me a great t-shirt at Teach’s Hole which i happily wore today because I was on a big
pirate kick. YAR!

Afternoon Delight

Friday, August 8th, 2003

So, this afternoon was a bit better. I took a super short lunch so i could go to the insurance adjuster later. I just walked over to the taco truck and got a burrito (very yummy btw). While there the guy taking orders had on an older Dayglo Abortions t-shrit on. That made me laugh. I complemented him on his t-shirt and he seemed shocked to see someone that knew who they were.

After lunch was the insurance adjuster. He was a very nice guy and very helpful. I finally saw how much damage there was. They dented the door pillar and scratched the crap out of it. The car will be in the shop for two days getting fixed. I’ll have an econo rental car for the duration. Life goes on.

SNAUSAGES!

I just wanted to say I love the word snausage. That is all, have a good day.
